Frequently asked questions
Is this legal advice?
No. We summarize each state's official sources in plain English and link to them, but we are not lawyers and rules change. Verify with your state's official source or an attorney.
Which states are covered?
10 states and Puerto Rico: Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Texas, Virginia. We add states and territories one at a time, each researched from statutes, regulations and education department pages.
Do you cover Puerto Rico?
Yes. The Puerto Rico guide covers the homeschool pathway in Ley 85-2018 and Ley 33-2017, withdrawing from a public school, records, and returning to school, with links to the laws and Department of Education circulars. Plans for Puerto Rico can include Puerto Rico history and bilingual (Spanish and English) practice.
Do you have Spanish and ESL?
Yes. Spanish is a world-language course for learners of Spanish, K-8, with vocabulary, grammar, verb conjugation and translation practice and answer keys. English as a Second Language (ESL) is a K-8 course in three levels with vocabulary, phonics, grammar, reading and speaking practice, and optional Spanish glosses. The Spanish course is not Spanish language arts for native speakers; Puerto Rico families may want a separate Spanish language arts program.
How current are the state guides?
Every guide shows its last verified date and links to its official sources. We re-check guides on a schedule and whenever a law changes.
How does the generator work?
It starts from a scope-and-sequence we wrote for each subject and grade (K-8), then adds your state's required topics, record-keeping reminders and report deadlines. The engine is pluggable, so AI-written plans can be added later.
What is free?
Every state compliance guide, unlimited plans, and week 1 (lessons 1-4) of any subject and grade as printable PDFs with theory, exercises and a parent answer key.
How does pricing work?
After week 1, a full school year (36 weeks, 4 lessons a week) of one subject and grade is $24, a one-time payment. It includes every lesson PDF with answer keys, split into files by weeks. No subscription, no account.
How long is each lesson?
That is up to you. Plans have 4 lessons a week per subject. If your state has an instruction-time rule, count time across all subjects together; the state guide explains the rule.
How do I get my purchases back on another device?
After paying you get a personal restore link and a receipt code. Open the link on any device, or restore with the receipt code and your email, from My purchases.
What grades are supported?
Kindergarten through 8th grade in math, English language arts (reading and writing), science, history/social studies, Spanish and English as a Second Language. High school courses are on the roadmap.
